can any body tell me the difference between j2ee and java sdk

i believe j2ee i think it stands for java 2 enterprise environment which has more libraries in it.

bottomline - the difference lies in the packages they have.
jdk supports the core packages.
j2ee encompasses the whole enterprise applications
servlets, jsp, jdbc, ejbs and lot more.
