I'm new to the working force and had a lot of great expectation... it's not all what it seems. Yep i do have fun at work especially if you are doing something but there are times when you are inbetween projects or waiting for a component to be done. Now that can really be a drag. in 6 words... I'M BORED OUT OF MY MIND! ps: just ranting!!!
I download an episode of Friends and watch it on my PC,if I have nothing else to do.Or some movie(Downloaded Spy Game last week). But do it only if your Boss doesnt sit close to u and no one monitors your Network
I learn new stuff ... write my own programmes ... do stuff for Javaranch ... do stuff for my website ... my theory, they're paying me to be here and available for work, which I am ... if they choose not to give me work then I'll do other stuff instead, my bosses generally don't have a problem with it since I can always say it's helping me gain experience. Sometimes if they know I'm not going to have any work for a few days they just tell me to work from home and dial-in occasionally to check nothing has come up. (The joys of the laptop). Then I can do all kinds of stuff!!
Pounding at a thick stone wall won't move it, sometimes, you need to step back to see the way around.
Would be nice to download stuff but unfortunately there is no sound card installed. =) I tried reading java books just incase i might want to take the certification but then there are really times i feel spaced out

Does the box have a USB port you can hook something in to? I don't know of any USB sound systems, but I've got to think there is something out there. Regards, Guy
