As the silly swede I am, I have a little trouble understanding the meaning of these meanings... :
Float - single precision number..
Double - double precision number...

In the Java(TM) language specification,
single precision describes a floating point number that holds 32 bits of data. e.g.(float datatype)
double precision describes a floating point number that holds 64 bits of data. e.g.(double datatype)
