Hopefully it's a good game at least. I think it would be kinda cool for Canada to gold medal in both men and women's hockey. Just don't cry if it doesn't happen.

What I find so amusing is that there are so many Canadians that play in USA and so many Americans play up here in Canada, in their 'day jobs'. Not to mention all the Russians and 'other European country' people that play on both teams.

But I'll wave the flag for a bit.

Congrats to Salt Lake City and USA for hosting a really great Olympics. Great opening ceremonies, and an hour into the closing ceremonies, I'm impressed. From all accounts by the media, the organizing committee did a very good job.

Speaking of the opening ceremonies.... did anyone else get the impression that either Tim Burton or Wes Craven had a hand in scripting that whole lost child on ice sequence? I remember watching it and thinking that it would give kids nightmares.
I agree with you though, overall a very fine and memorable Olympics. Man I love watching them, but now we have to wait two years for the next one.
