HI:
My small program is supposed to work as an app and applet.
I am trying to change the button to swing's JButton. It compiles
ok but the button does not appear. I think it has something to
do with the "add." but not sure. Also I am calling repaint twice
to print two drawstrings on the window but only 1 seems to
work but cannot figure out why. Tried about of different x,y
values.
thanks.

Last I knew, Swing wasn't supported in applets without a special IE plugin...or something like that.
You may want to just stick with AWT buttons for now just to see if it works that way. Then you'll know.
