What are the runtime components that I can load on a Production box without loading the JDK? I should not have to install JDK on Prod environment. However without doing that how do I run my java object then?
This is j2se1.3.1 on Solaris 2.6

Hi Med -
You can install the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) instead if you like, although it's 1.2. This package leaves off the bytecode compiler and other tools not needed at run time. Here is the link.
Sun's pages encourage you to migrate to 1.3, but they haven't yet delivered a "run-time only" package for it.
