I don?t know about Munich, Germany but here in Ireland 3K per month is fairly good! In fact a 3K take home is a damn good salary considering the tax rate in practice here - 42%
As far as I have heard, Germany is much cheaper place to work and live. I know some one working in Essen. Also there are many German nationals working in Ireland for lesser salary!

hi,

if it's 3K Euro per month, take home - Excellent. But make sure, it's after all the 'deductions' and not after deducting only the tax part of it. You have many deductions apart from the huge income tax in your salary, esp. if you are single.
