I have a Java Program which calls a C Program through JNI. The C Program for some reason gives a Core Dump and my entire Java Application Crashes. Is there some way by which, even if the C Program crashes I can continue with my Java Application i.e. is there a way to catch a "Core Dump" within my Java Program?

Hi CGI,
Welcome to JavaRanch.
In order to maintain its professional profile, JavaRanch has a naming policy that prohibits fictitious sounding names. Could you please reregister with a new name, preferably your real name?
Thanks and best of luck with your program.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
