Hi,
just got a new computer with an XP operting system, and cannot load my JBuilder 4 software on it. I get an error message saying something like "Error javaw.exe".
Has anyone else had trouble loading Jbuilder 4 onto an XP system?
Thanks,
Kim

Probably something Microsoft put on there to prevent you from running Java on it.

I was never able to install JBuilder 4 off the CD by letting the auto-run bring up the installer. I had to manually browse the CD and find the installer application and double-click it.
Try running install_windows.exe off the CD root, or if that doesn't work (my memory is fuzzy) try the CD:/windows/fnd_install.exe instead.
Good luuck!

Hi I don't know about JBuilder 4, But i have 5 installed on my XP system, and it runs fine. THe only problem i had was when i tried to use the 1.4 jdk with JBuilder 5. The 1.4 sdk is not supported by JBuilder 5.
