I just found JavaRanch a few weeks ago (and let me just say that I am impressed). I just passed the SJCP (barely) but I would like my coding "nitpicked". I am currently revising Assignment 1.1 per Marilyn (thank you for your evaluation). I am sure doing the assignments will make me a better programmer (the first one already enlightened me to performance issues). My question is this : should I skip ahead on assignments considering that I have my certification or should I continue to follow the path? I have no problem doing the latter, I just don't want to waste anyone's time. Thanks to JavaRanch and all who participate.

Tony, You can work on the assignments ahead of time, but you must turn them in one at a time. In other words, you must have satisfied the nitpicker (currently me) on 1.1 before you may submit 1.2 and so on.

Marilyn, Thanks for your reply and I look forward to my code being reviewed.
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
