This may be a dumb question, but I was wondering if Sun releases small upgrades to the JDK in between major ones. For example, while browsing through the Bug Parade, I came across some bugs (against 1.4.0) that are marked as fixed. Is there a place I can download such fixes? Thanks...

Sun does release smaller upgrades between the major ones, but none are out yet for 1.4.0. Previously 1.2.0 was updated to 1.2.1 and 1.2.2, while 1.3.0 had only one update, 1.3.1. (Of course, there were multiple pre-release versions as well if you want to count those.) I realize this may not be "small enough" for what you meant by "smaller upgrades" - but for better or worse, this is what Sun gives us. For any bugs in 1.4.0 that are marked as "fixed" in the Bug Parade, you basically have to wait for 1.4.1.
