Hi all ! my problem is that i have made a program using the icmp.dll and java, as a java ping program . well this is not in the java spirit "all plattforms". Then i was thinking if i could do a "real" java program but using the PortUnreachableException as a referens when the icmp packet is not "answered" ? if so could i skip the use of the icmp.dll.? or if it works how can i recive the tcp/ip header information ? and if it not works like a ping... any suggestions ? ping = pong ? //Rille
