im writing a program that is mainly jpanel based. upon the click of a button, i do various things and i would like one of them to be playing a sound. is there anyway to use Applet's AudioClip class with a JPanel? i've tried just using a dummy/temp applet so that i can call getAudioClip, but that locks up the machine...ideas? thanks.

Take a look at http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/guide/sound/

Day by day, what you do is who you become. Your integrity is your destiny - it is the light that guides your way. - Heraclitus
