I would like to use a MS Windows-95 platform to develop Java applications. Does anyone know of a version of Java that will install (without warnings) and run successfully on this platform?
Thanks in advance

I have used 1.2 and 1.3 on Win95's with no problem.
I don't see any reason why 1.4 would not work, but I haven't tried it.

Please do not cross-post, Larry. Thanks.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
