I am putting out a string to the dos screen that has a large gap in the middle. The gap is not spaces. Is there an good way to find out what these characters are?
Thanks.

Redirect the output to a file and open that file in some text editor (Textpad or Wordpad. But not Notepad: it doesn't show special characters)
I guess they will be nulls.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
