Hello,
I have recently upgraded my OS to windows XP home edition.I have downloaded J2SE1.4.1(j2sdk-1_4_1_02-s1studio_ce-4u1-bin-windows.exe) and trying to install it.When I double click on exe file it does not install J2SE1.4.1.It fails to load any sort of installer at all.
Could any one tell me how do i get it install.I have checked the file size too.
Thanks
Anil Sequeira

Well, I'm not sure why it would not be running the installer. But I don't know if you know it, you downloaded the SDK with Sun One Studio which is Sun's IDE like Netbeans.
You might try downloading just the sdk and see if that works for you.

You said you update your system. So I think you have installed the jdk before. Delete the old version(jdk, jre, AND the DIRECTROY such as x:\s1studio_jdk) then reinstall.
Good luck.

No, only this .exe file is needed.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
