Searching For Files Using Filter

Does anyone have example code of searching for files with specific string as a prefix or extension.

{
    public boolean accept( File dir, String aName )
    {
        String lName = aName.toLowerCase();
        if ( lName.endsWith( ".htm"  ) ) return true;
        if ( lName.endsWith( ".html" ) ) return true;
        if ( lName.endsWith( ".asp"  ) ) return true;
        return false;
    }
}
);

Nowadays regular expressions could support the kind of globals and wildcards users are accustomed to at the command line, and lots of other cool things.
