Hi all, I have read and understand how to use extension mechanism via which Java allows to use extension classes etc. I have used SUN Tutorial to understand that concept. Here I can understand use of "lib/ext" based "installed extensions" but I can't convince myself about usefulness of "download extensions". Can anybody throw more light on this with examples or something? Regards Maulin
They are extensions to the API - providing extra features that are additional to the API. Ex:- JCE (Java Cryptography Extention) - it's an extension used for Cryptography - cyphering the content. [ October 25, 2003: Message edited by: VIJAY Yadlapati ]
