Private and Static Methods

Hi All..
Can any one tell me whether a static method can be overloaded.
Also can a private method can be overloaded.
Please explain in detail...

The answer to both questions is yes, but I'm going to qualify this by reminding you that overloading means having multiple methods in the same class with the same name but different argument lists; it's different from overriding or polymorphism, in which multiple classes in an inheritance hierarchy implement the same method with the same argument list.
