CRC-32

I have a bytebuffer information and i want to implement crc-32 without using the crc methods as defined in java 2.0. Please help.

Did you consider sticking "java crc-32" in Google? First hit is bull's eye from the looks of it.

Thank you peter. I looked at the program and want a second opinion.
The question is whether this program uses the java.util.zip.CRC32 class.

You're talking about this page? You've got the source code right there. Does it import or use anything from the java.util.zip package?

Yep. I am talking about CRC32.java. I just want to confirm that it does not use the java.util.

Good grief. Um, Chella, are you under the impression that our eyes contain some automatic Java source scanning functionality that you lack? Wish it were true, but sadly it isn't. We'd have to do the same things that you would do: eyeball the source for any occurrence of "java.util", or better, use the search facility of our text editor.
