This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
You're talking about this page? You've got the source code right there. Does it import or use anything from the java.util.zip package?

Yep. I am talking about CRC32.java. I just want to confirm that it does not use the java.util. Thanks.

Good grief. Um, Chella, are you under the impression that our eyes contain some automatic Java source scanning functionality that you lack? Wish it were true, but sadly it isn't. We'd have to do the same things that you would do: eyeball the source for any occurrence of "java.util", or better, use the search facility of our text editor. - Peter
