Client server using Java RMI Multihreading

Hi I am new to java and i have to write a programme in Java RMI using multithreading, as i HAVE TO SUBBMIT COURSEWORK BY THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY.
what we have e.g four clients connected to an object and in object we have to use XML as well in order to know that which client is avaliable and which is not, and if client subbmit any task how it be recieved by an object? I will really appriciate if I get help in doing this as i am new to java and have very short time to finished this work.

The community here will be glad to help you with any problems you have, but we aren't going to do your work for you. Here's some good starting points. The Java Tutorial has tons of great information for the student. For example, there's a whole trail on RMI. There's a tutorial on XML and Java buried in the J2EE Tutorial. Start at Chapter 4 and ignore the non-XML chapters.
