dont believe it!!!
america is a land where you can spend your whole life toiling and never even be able to get your own home...
40 hours at minimum wage doesnt even pay rent for an apartment
you will never qualify for a mortgage
why do they tax us to death and not even let us have enough to live on?
oh but i will get a good job at high pay because i am highly qualified..dont believe that either. if you dont know someone you will be using your degree to get a job at burger king. they dont care about qualified..they give the good jobs to the sons of their rich friends, even if they are morons.

Here in the UK we are taxed at a much higher rate than out stateside counterparts. There are other countries in Europe where the taxes are even higher than here in the UK.
(just thought you may like to know that at least your taxes are not the most brutal in the world)
Sounds like you're no longer dreaming the American Dream®. Maybe we need a revolution, comrade.

uumm well as the old saying goes.. the other bank always looks greener than the one you are on.. till you get there.
Well, I am sure discussing the America and sharing opinions is a great idea.. but then when theres big brother watching over yer back, it makes sense to be careful about what you say.
Besides that, America sure does have, like every other country, appreciation for good work. In fact as an Indian, I have felt that America TRUELY is the land of dreams and opportunity..
But, ofcourse there are two sides of the coin.. in how we see it and percieve it lies our widsom.

I always thought that Big Brother was a fictional creation, a paranoid Orwellian relic inspired by the Cold War era. Besides, I think Randall's original post was more of an socio-economic gripe.
Randall, I'm sure the good jobs are out there. I have to think that because my job ends soon and I'm looking for a new one.

There is fight, Yaar.
What you are saying looks true but it is not the whole truth .. what you say in english "Where is will there is way"
some days back I got forwarded mail abt Nura.. the guy who made boat and sailed till rain stop. I think this story is from Bible/Kuran(who cares..). and there was some tips to learn from this story:
1) Plan your action in advance.
2) even you are 80 yrs be ready to work.
.
.
.
and there where some more...
I liked it ...
being unemployed is sick ...looks like world ends here ..
but world never ends ..
keep on fighting .. you will be winner.
sometime preaching is easy ... but it is you who has to swallow medicines. I cant have for you.
And what you are saying is everywhere ....... means everywhere..
You might have to be son of some rich man to get entry in Heaven .. else go to hell
PS: but who wants to go heaven they go there.
I know one thing, if you want to do something you can do it.
Recent Exa. I can give is Tony's(if I am not wrong) trip to space... He wanted to go and he was there .... forget the age and medical fitness..
If US wont allow then USSR .... even I think if not USSR .. then develop your own spaceship and ..
don't expect ... think and achive it
(Yes this is the Mantra for everything you get by yourself in your life, Luck matters ... but.. one can not sit for that)
