How does the marker interface Serializable work when we implement this interface,but do not implement any methods but the object is serialized

If the JVM sees that an object's class implements Serializable, then the JVM knows it's OK to serialize that object; otherwise, the JVM will refuse to serialize the object. That's all there is to it.
