Hi, I am working with Solaris 8 and Java. I have to create files grater than 2GB, but it dose not work, the OS Administrator told me that Solaris support files grater than 2 GB, so I would like to Know (please) if Java has this limit ?
And (to send only a post and get 2 answers ), If I am using jdk 1.3, is there a way to use java.nio ? (like 1.4). Since this referece to native, maybe it could not, but width IO from 1.3 is very slow.
