OK I hava a couple of questions for the J3D api...
1. I can't get the demos going in my browser, why? (Note: I have the latest JVM)
2. Are there any good online tutorials to be found?
3. How difficult is it to fully master J3D?

What version of Java 3D have you installed - are you using OpenGL or DirectX?
