Hi mathur
If you are BSc and want to stay in IT field then from somewhere you must do MCA.
I havent done MCA as I am already BE.
for Part time there are lot of other universities also, cant recollect the names but one is in Bhopal and other is Osmania .
Manipal uni, I dont know details of that so I cant say anything.
abt IGNOU I know one thing is that ITS GOVT university. so it is valid.

hi
i,am not from a technical field but still wish go ahead with IT . I,am working as a java programmer for a company since the last 1 year. Besides experience and certifications a degree also plays an important role in the long run . That is the reason i want to pursue an MCA along with my job.

Hi
I think u shd try once and have documents from IGNOU ..
as u can work regularly and get u r MCA also done ..one thing more IGNOU is a registered univ and in future if u get a abroad assignment it will help u as recognised by most of countries..
so take care in admission ..go for the univesities ..
those r registered by many countries..
u can give exams and continue IGNOU ..in many parts of wold as u can give exam in there centres abroad also ..

regd's

balyan :
thats the whole point . I want to pursue this course from a decent university . That is i,am giving myself time to shortlist some of the good if not reputed universities . The reason is that very few univ in india offer a part MCA programme but to leave the job and go for it is not what one should do . ANY idea about univ in South ?
