I'm a newbie and I have developed an applet. It's gotten pretty complex as I've developed it, and as I've gone along and needed to create new classes, I just made them internal to the applet class. Well, of course this has become a total mess. So now I'm trying to do a code cleanup and straighten things out. Assume my applet is named myApplet, I created a package called myAppletpkg (I'm doing this with Netbeans) and put the source for myApplet in that directory, adding the line "package myAppletpkg;" to the top of the file. I then created new classes under package myAppletpkg with the names of each of my classes that had been internal, and moved the code for each of them out of myApplet and into the corresponding class. After a litle fiddling around to make the new classes aware of the applet they are being used it, I got it all to compile. But now when I try to run it I get a class not foung error for myAppletpkg/myApplet. Anybody see anything obviously wrong with the way I'm tryng to do this??
