Is there any support for code generation using metadata(attributes) from java source in 1.5? Like the feature is available in xdoclet http://xdoclet.sourceforge.net/xdoclet/index.html for J2EE code generation.

I think,

Annotation has one advantage over XDoclet. Annotations are available through reflection interfaces.
