It came from a beautful poem. I guess it's trying to express how it feels to look at the world with childlike wonder, and the poet is expressing his approval. I like this one better, though of course Wordworth's poem is more sublime.

Taken literally ... a child grows up o become a parent ... infinitum... Here father and man means parent and offspring ...
