Hello Friends ,
1) I am working as a java developer i need java sites which will
help me in development.please tell me perfect java sites for java
project developers.

2) I am working on autoupdates any java samples on version compatibility checking using java. please send me the source code.


1)Obtain authentication information for user
2)Obtain Client details like installation type ( Integrated/Standalone), version numbers, time stamp of last login attempt, Server IP
3)Pack, encrypt & send information to appropriate server


4)Authenticate user and Obtain Practice details
5)Check if any uploads are present since last login attempt
6)If yes,
Check if new versions are available for the client
7)If yes,
Give information about the type of update
( Compatible/incompatibe) , for POMS, auto update.exe,
Auto updates service of service handler
8) Package, encrypt & transmit to client.


8)Send a message to Auto updates service informing it about the update
9)If it is post production date and the update is not compatibility breaking,
Pop up message to client asking if he would like to download it.
10)If user wants to download it, launch auto update.exe and exit application
11)If user doesn�t want to download, continue.
12)If the update is compatibility breaking, pop message to user forcing auto update.
13) Ask Autoupdate service if the particular download is complete.
14) If it receives �Yes�, launch auto update.exe with parameter to download from
Auto Updates service. Exit Application

15) If it receives �No� or service is not responding, launch auto update.exe and ask it to download from Asp FTP server. Exit Application

16) The next time user logs in, send a message to Auto update.exe that the
Download is complete

Gee, is that all you want? If I put together the source code that you're asking for, you'd have to sign over your paycheck to me because I'd be doing all your work for you. Have you downloaded and worked through the free Java tutorials at Sun? You'll find many of your answers in there. Then, if you still have questions, you can post more-focused questions in the many specialized threads on this site.
