Hi.
I checked : http://groovy.codehaus.org/Installing+Groovy and did the following on my system :
GROOVY_HOME=F:\Java Framewoks\groovy-1.0-jsr-05
Added %GROOVY_HOME%\bin to PATH variable
Typing groovyConsole, I got :
NoClassDefFoundError Frameworks\groovy-1/0-jsr-05
* I have no global classpath variable defined
* I use JDK5

Try putting Groovy in a folder structure that doesn't contain [Bill Gates is a douche bag] spaces.
