Hi,
I have dell dimension V350 with Pentium II processor and 64MB RAM. I need to have 512 MB RAM and 500MHz speed. I was wondering which option is good.
Purchase new computer
or
Replace motherboard, if possible. I'm not sure whether Dell replaces the motherboard.
I don't want to spend more than $400. Any suggestions ?

If you are just looking at Motherboard Processor and RAM, I would just do that instead of buying a whole new Computer.
Pricewatch is a good place to find inexpensive computer parts.

Whenever there is that much of a gap between your computer and the computers of today, I have found in my pricing research that a New Computer is always the best solution. You always end up happier.
