Hi I have an intensity matrix and would like to display it as a image. To start with i thoght I will use the following matrix to try displaying all colour in a self generated color scale. The displayed image has only four colors(blue, green, magenta and orange). Can somebody tell me why?

Also please let me know if there are predefined color mappings in java.
