A java app I wrote is being used on a Mac OS X.
The OS has a drop down menu at the top of the screen
that allows users to quit the app. This is not part of my
app.
When the user closes the app by this way and not by clicking
on the "X" icon that is part of the app window, the window closing
event that has been added to the frame is not fired.
Is this a bug is there another window event I need to be using.

thanks

I don't think it's a bug, but I don't know the preferred way to deal with it. You might have better luck posting on the Mac OS board.
