theres one function in Map.Entry with signature as Object setValue(Object v) ......here its said that IllegalArgumentException will be thrown if there is "problem" with argument "v"..........What kind of "problem" ?.....i am not able to imagine !

Map could be implemented many different ways; there's nothing in the API that says that Map implementations can't place additional restrictions on the values they accept. Maybe you've written a Map whose values must be Serializable, or must be Cloneable, or must be Remote.
