Yes you can. You can invoke Java.

Yes, I do it. You want the Invocation API.

My application is in C. However, throughout the rest of JNI, the norm seems to be that C++ is similar, except that you omit the first parameter to any C function call, and instead use that parameter as the C++ object on which the same-named method is invoked.
