I wasn't sure where to post this, but I figure nothing is moved from MD.
I'd like to know what online bookstores people use to purchase tech books. I used to use fatbrain, then amazon, but lately they haven't discounted some of the books I'm interested in. I'm just wondering if there are some other smaller sites that offer better discounts on tech books.
So who's your favorite bookseller??

I frequently buy from BookPool, though I still use Amazon for its reviews .

Beleive it or not ebay is awesome for books, but you have to know what you are looking for. Seems alot of the "citizens" buy books about all sorts of programming stuff, get thru chapter one & say screw it, then put it up on ebay......Ive gotten some $50 + Java & other books that I was looking for for $5 that way...

ROFL. Sweet naivety.

The amazon marketplace is a good spot to get older books. I bought "Java Rules" for $6 plus shipping. It arrived in 4 days. Older books are very cheap.
Also remaindered books are cheap here:

Hey, thanks for the tip. That was too good of a deal to pass up! They even had a store close enough for me to pick it up and avoid the shipping charge.

THANKS!!!
I picked up a copy of Java Rules also for $6.
I've used Bookpool.com many times also with good results, but sometimes they get sold out of the new releases quickly.
