Can i have some hints to work on the above assignment.

Think about a math function that will tell you if a number is even or odd. Can't say too much more without giving it all away.

I'm assuming that you mean the odd or even task. There is a link on the assigment page for "perform a math trick". I don't know what exactly is there, but that should give you the clue you are looking for.
