Dear All,

I kinda a rookie to java programming and right now im involved in a project building a simple P2P application / applet that can implement a voip chat much like Skype but in much more basic and simpler form .. I have done this project using TAPI 3.0 by using Visual C .Net, but right now im trying to developed it with Java . I have only fundamental knowledge about java, ( basic Java Sound, basic P2P Instant Messaging : Deitel) and i have no idea how to start this project. Can someone lend me some help regarding ideas, resources concepts and techniques ? . Im quite confused with the usage of JTAPI and JMF ( Java Media Framework) because in some forums, some advised that regarding my case i just need to use the JMF packages.. Well the requirement is simple. the application/applet can make a voice call to other user using the same application/applet by its ip address in its LAN/Intranet environment. Please help and i will readily share the source codes once the project is a succes. TQ
