Is there any API for retrieving the information like processor speed,processor task,system memory usage etc? Please help me.

There are methods which can tell you the basic information like OS name and many other information in the System class in java.lang package. Specifically i do not have any knowledge of any such api which can give information of processor speed etc, but you can do one think which will be some what long but will solve the problem . You can execute commands of the unix which can tell the required information which will be displayed on the console . now you will have to bring whatever you have got in the console .
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
