1. MY PC uses DSL to connect to internet. If I use "URLConnection" to connect to a web site, how does the server of that site interpret the IP address of my PC (where the request is from) ?
2. Generally speaking, when a PC uses DSL, is its IP address dynamically assigned ?

Your ISP must have assigned an IP address to your DSL router, which is the one that is ultimately used in the Internet.
