hello everyone,

i have just completed my SCJP i am lloking forward to taking up the next level of certifications like SCWCD or SCJWS. please give input on which to choose. I will list out the fields i am interested in please tell me which certification i have to pursue.


1) PORTALs programming : SCWCD,SCBCD or SCJWS?

2) EAI development : SCWCD,SCBCD or SCJWS?

3) content mangment systems programming : SCWCD,SCBCD or SCJWS?

1. I don't believe there is a certification for portlets, or other Java portal technologies yet. Although, since Servlets and JSPs are generally involved, SCWCD may be your best bet.

2. EAI is generally a third party certification -- meaning it is dependent on which product is used. In Java, the API most likely needed is JMS, which at this point, I don't believe it has a certification.

3. Content management is also a third party certification. However, many third party like ATG or Broadvision, uses an application server as it's core, so a SCWCD or SCBCD couldn't hurt.
