CVS Change Logs

Hi. Currently, at the top of each of my java source files, I add the directive $header$ and CVS replaces that with some header information (such as who checked it in, when, version number, etc).

I want to be able to include my comments that I write when I check the code into CVS in the top of the source file, so the file has a change log. I'm open to other suggestions on how to keep an automated change log in the file as well.

Thanks for your help.

Oh, don't do that, please. I hate those. Why not just let people see the change log using CVS if they want to?

I'm going to move this to our "IDEs, Version Control, and Other Tools" forum for discussion.

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
