Hello everyone

I want to do some project in Java. I am learning java since 6 months and very eager to do a project. Please suggest me any good resource which will guide me in developing my projects.
Also please suggest any java application project and java web project which uses j2ee.
please recommend any book which discusses all the issues i need to know to develop good projects.
thanks all.

To make it clear what I need is the following doubts cleared:
1]. How to plan a java project, how to best devide a project into java modules
2]. what to document
3]. Is it necessary that my style of coding should be the best or if I can go with my own style and dont worry about how I arrive to a solution of a particulat problem?
4]. What are the practices that I will be missing if I am doing a project at home besides working in a company and doing project for them.
5]. Please recommend a To-Do list for me to follow to develop
a]. an application
b]. a web application

thanks again hope I get answers. Your help is very much appreciated.

Steve,
1) This is the design phase of your project. There isn't going to be any short tips people can give you. It depends on what makes sense for your project.
2/3) That's up to you. If you are just doing this for practice, it doesn't really matter.
4) Teamwork, code sharing, a larger project
5) See a book or tutorial on creating applications for a high level list of the steps.

I know these answers are vague, but this is a really high level question.

You can use any style of code, but justfiy it.

What are the practices that I will be missing if I am doing a project at home besides working in a company and doing project for them.
Plan time to spend for the project... and Priorities the task in office and home..
