hi,
can we have a single standalone executable for a java application and it shouls start the application without having jre or jdk installed in the machine?

You cannot run a Java program without a JRE or JDK on the computer. That's like trying to drive a car without an engine in it...

You could use something like IzPack to install your Java application. The IzPack installer will install a JRE if the user doesn't have a JRE on his or her computer.
