I have many Fortran and C programs running in the Linux system. Every time I have to login to the machine, prepare the input file for the programs and run the programs to get result. Then I need to launch the graphic program to plot the result.

I am satisfied with it since I am familiar with Linux system and these programs. But my advisor need an easy way to access the programs. He want me to build a web interface to access the programs in which he is able to input the values to the program and run the program to get graphical result on the web.

So here is the goal:
1.build a interface to provide a way to access the current program
2.call the program to calculate results
3.plot results on the web
4.must consider the case if more than one person use the same program

I would like to achieve the goal by Java, but I dont know where to start with. Do I need to use JSP and Servlet? How to build the web interface? How to plot on the web?

Please, please give me some clues about these questions.
