I want to parse a Schema (xsd) which is a Stringbuffer with xml using JDOM.Can anyone suggest how I do it when schema is a StringBuffer and not a file

If JDOM is anything like the standard Java library, the parsers take Reader or InputSource or some similar generalized stream of characters and are not locked in to reading Files only.

You can get a String from the StringBuffer and then make a Reader.
