A RIDDLE THAT'LL KILL YOUR BRAIN!
This is going to make you so MAD!
There are three words in the English language that end in "gry".
ONE is angry and the other is hungry. Everyone knows what the third ONE
means and what it stands for. Everyone uses them everyday, and if you
listened very carefully, I've given you the third word.
What is it? _______gry?

Distorted what? It's a riddle, they're supposed to be distorted.

"Distorted" in the sense that there are versions of this "puzzle" in which something vaguely resembling a sensible answer is possible - but this isn't one of those versions, thanks to the phrasing.

"Think of three words ending in gry. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is."
Sounds better?

Simon couldn't have made it easier unless he'd actually typed out the answer.
