I'll go out on a limb and say "no". But if people start arguing over it with excess passion, that answer can quickly change. So let's try not to burn the place down before the "kinder, gentler" MD has officially arrived.
As for the topic itself (rather than the meta-topic):
For my part I'd say yeah, this trend in FBI activities is deeply disturbing...
