Any help on this would be great :-)

Anyone know of any Java API where i can do the following:

i have a video in shockwave and mp4 format

- how can i find out the length of the video
- convert the video to 3gp format

I don't have experience with it myself, but maybe you can use the Java Media Framework for this.

You might also have a look at QuickTime for Java and JVLC.
